How much is lots?

The activity How Much is Lots? is an example of the type of resource included in the fortnightly e-newsletter Maths and Stats by Email.

It involves surveying other students to determine what they believe is meant by the term 'lots'.

While there is no right or wrong answer, the process requires that the survey questions are asked in a consistent and confidential manner to minimise bias in the data.

The resource includes a link to the Science Buddy's website tips on designing a survey.
